Dillon spent much of his childhood in NYC’s restaurant kitchens, cramped manager’s offices, and slippery pastry departments. In part because he came to love it, but more precisely because his father wasn’t necessarily praised for his babysitting forethought. Regardless of its spark, from an early age, Dillon started understanding firsthand the gravitational energy, electrical pace, and physically taxing qualities of the industry. Naturally, he jumped right in.

While grabbing a Hospitality Management degree from Johnson and Wales, Dillon rapidly explored an interest in photography and shortly after graduating navigated his way back to New York City. Filling his time bartending, being a general knucklehead, and banging out a few digital marketing stints; Dillon opened his first hospitality-focused creative agency in 2014, offering a hands-on approach to social media and digital marketing. Three years later he found himself co-owning and leading, Front of House, Inc, a full-service digital creative marketing agency, whose five-year run garnered long-term partnerships with brands like 1 Hotels, Jean-Georges, Chelsea Market, Baccarat Hotels, Eli Zabar, Le Pain Quotidien, and, Aurify Brands among many others. Throughout his time scaling Front of House, Dillon oversaw all creative content and client services, from ideation to execution. This role allowed Dillon to work and lead hundreds of projects across the country and, (very) occasionally Europe.

Dillon has been featured on Good Morning America and Eater’s “Going Viral” minisite as an expert on content positioning for hospitality brands. His work has been seen in The New York Times, Wall St. Journal, Michelin Guide, Infatuation, Thrillist, Wine Spectator, and various other outlets.

Among (likely too) many of Dillon’s frequent mantras is that he's found himself speaking two languages - Chef, and Internet. Or more broadly, hospitality and digital marketing. And this is the lens Dillon runs all of his work through.

Dillon lives in Brooklyn, with his wife and dog named lettuce.
